OOT Box Media Takes First Place at Springfield's 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Parade

There’s no better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than by bringing the community together, and this year, OOT Box Media had even more reason to celebrate. We’re proud to share that we took first place at Springfield’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, making the moment even more meaningful as we celebrate our 10th year in business and our fifth year participating in the parade! Reaching a decade as a company is a major milestone, and this win felt like the perfect way to honor the journey. Watch the full recap video below!

Building the Float: From Idea to Execution

Every parade season starts with a simple question: how do we top last year?

This year, with our 10-year anniversary in mind, we set out to create something that not only captured the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day but also reflected who we are as a company. Planning began months in advance, brainstorming concepts that would be bold, engaging, and memorable.

It all came together through a mix of creativity, collaboration, and a drive to make this year’s float unforgettable. A big part of that was our custom-designed trailer panels, which helped set the tone for the entire float. Below, you can see both the original production mockup and how our design came to life on the actual trailer.

The float was packed with playful elements like inflatable rainbows and leprechauns, along with 3,500 suckers, over 30 pounds of additional candy, and custom OOT Box t-shirts celebrating our 10-year anniversary to hand out along the route. We also featured our OOTy mascot and a full sound setup with music and a live microphone to keep the energy high! Orange smoke poured from the decked-out Cybertruck, while Andrew, dressed as a leprechaun, cruised by on a cloud.

The end result was an interactive experience that made a lasting impression. The goal wasn’t just to participate, it was to create something that represented 10 years of growth, creativity, and dedication.

The Parade Day Experience

From early morning setup to last-minute adjustments, the excitement builds quickly. Smiles, cheers, and waves from the community made the experience unforgettable. Being part of something that brings people together in such a joyful way is what makes this event so special and why we keep coming back year after year.
